As we look ahead to the middle of August, our hearts naturally turn toward our community’s young people and the educators who pour into them daily. On Sunday, August 9th at 10:00 AM, we will hold our special Back-to-School Prayer Service.
Scripture reminds us to commit our actions to the Lord, and there is no better way to launch a school year than on our knees. We will be calling up our students, parents, and school employees (teachers, administrators, custodians, cafeteria workers) for a dedicated moment of prayer and blessing.
We want our classrooms to be places of safety, growth, and joy this year. Please make it a priority to be here, and think of one family in your neighborhood you can invite to join you. Thank you, church—let’s prepare our hearts to bless our community.
