What’s Love Got To Do With It?

FEBRUARY 2024

Everything . “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs” ( *1 Corinthians 13:4-5).*

I really don’t know how anyone can survive without love. It feels like it’s the glue that keep things together. It mends the brokenhearted and heals relationships. It proves that different people with different backgrounds and personalities can get along and coexist together.

Perhaps the Bible is a great place to look for lessons about the real meaning of love – God’s love and self love. Whether it’s loving your neighbor as yourself or God loving us so much that He didn’t mind sacrificing his son to prove it.

Take a moment and ponder these Bible verses about love💘

[] “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us” – *1 John 4:12*

[] “For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her” – *Ephesians 5:25*

[] “Do everything in love” –  *1 Corinthians 16:14*

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them” – *1 John 4:16*

[] “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” – *1 Peter 4:8*

[] “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” – *John 15:12*

[] “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” – *1 Corinthians 13:13*

[] “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves” – *Romans 12:12*
